Dear Reader,
Today, on Canadian Thanksgiving, I’m thinking about sharing my gratitude. While there are many things I’m grateful for, two things are particularly present for me today.
The first is the life I’ve created for myself.
When I think about my journey from addiction to creator, I can hardly wrap my head around it sometimes. The ability to consciously create a life that reflects who I am, what matters to me, and how I want to experience being alive is something indescribable in words. I'm mindful of how few people get to say that: I love my life.
I get to do work I rejoice in. I get to write, explore, question, create, and follow the things that call to me. I get to make aligned choices about how I spend my time, what I give my attention to, and what I want to bring into the world.
I get to create a life by design rather than simply living the life that circumstances, conditioning, or someone else’s expectations might have handed me.
I know what it is - and what it takes - to live differently, aligned with what matters to us. That journey has shaped so much of who I am and how I show up in the world. It has taught me that the life we know isn’t the only life available to us.
One of the joys of homeschooling is getting to follow our curiosity wherever it leads us. Mushroom hunting with my little guy. 🍄
The second thing I’m deeply grateful for is the women I work with.
I’m grateful that women trust me with their most intimate inner worlds. With the vulnerability of the things they’ve never said out loud, the parts of themselves they’re still trying to understand, the truths they’re afraid to acknowledge, and the questions they don’t yet know how to answer.
I feel deeply honoured by the trust these women place in me. There is something profoundly sacred about being invited into those conversations. About creating a space where a woman can be with herself honestly and safely.
I get to witness their courage. Their willingness to question what they’ve always believed. Their determination to understand themselves more deeply, to trust their own signals, and to discover what becomes possible when they begin to make choices from that place.
And I get to witness them embracing something that belongs entirely to them: discovering themselves. It's freeing to not have to have answers, but to be so deeply caring and curious about another's inner world that I simply ask questions and hold space for the landing, the discomfort, the discovery, and the possibility and emergence of something new.
That, to me, is sacred work.
I’m grateful that I get to be part of that process.
So this Thanksgiving, I’m celebrating the life I’ve created, the journey that brought me here, and the women who trust me enough to share theirs with me.
I feel incredibly fortunate to get to do this work. To keep learning, creating, questioning, and discovering alongside the women who come into my world.
And I’m grateful for you, too, for being here and being part of these conversations, at the forefront or in the background.
Thank you for being here.
A little news from my world:
The in-person retreat is now full! Five women will be gathering to explore their inner landscapes and begin freeing themselves from the many unspoken rules, shoulds, and can’ts they’ve been carrying. I’m so looking forward to what we’ll discover together.
If you're feeling drawn to work together, I have one spot available for 1:1 coaching in November. You’re also welcome to join us inside The Inner Ecosystem, our ongoing group-coaching space for exploration, discovery, and integration.
If either is calling to you, simply hit reply. I'll guide you to what's next.
Beyond that, I'm turning my attention toward writing my book, soaking up time with my growing lil man, and making room for whatever is seeking to emerge next.
With gratitude,
Stela
